Sold

That's right, folks.  The ole trailer is off the market!  I know what your thinking - you didn't even know it was for sale!?  That's because it has only been on the market for less than a week! We were surprised to get a call within a day or two of it listing and even more surprised today when it sold to the first people to show interest.  When we were discussing when to put it up for sale, I'll admit, I was a bit concerned on how quickly it would go.  It is an older model home, but it's had it's dose of repairs and upgrades in the past 6 years, and it's in one of the best trailer parks in Auburn.  It's all about location, location, location, right?  And we have a wonderful view from our lot.  For those (few) of you that have visited, our park is nice and open with large fields and ponds throughout - perfect for pet owners.  Apparently this sweet family that visited us this morning agreed, because within an hour after checking out our place they called with an offer!  What a blessing (especially for Gene and Marilyn!) to have the deal already done before we've even started packing!  Here's a glimpse into one of our home improvements done a little over a year ago:

Before = horrible, faded blue/yellow exterior (back view)

During (front view) = two wonderful, hardworking in-laws!

After = beautiful, normal-colored trailer & tired Budraitis family.

On a side note - this place has never been so clean, so fast!  We didn't have much time during the week to prep for our buyers, then we had dinner and game night with friends last night.  After they left at 11:00, we were in full swing cleaning mode!  By 1:00 the entire house had been dusted, laundry was finished, bathrooms were spotless, our back room of junk was an organized pile of junk, our laundry area was free of fuzz from the lint catcher, the floors were swept and vacuumed, all clothes were properly hung, and the catch-all kitchen table was cleared!  (Whew!)  All we had to do this morning was yet another load of laundry, tidy up the kitchen counter after breakfast, and make the bed. Isn't it amazing how quickly housecleaning can take place when company comes?  I think I should invite someone over every weekend for motivational reasons. :)
