High Five for Friday

Another week has come and gone. Let's celebrate Friday with this week's High Five!

1.  On Saturday, our friend Scarlett hosted a girls only Christmas party. She served hot cocoa with various toppings and add-ins, and asked that we all bring a treat to share. There was a table full of cookies and brownies, and a little popcorn to even out all the sugar with a little salt. :)  We also played the left-right-pass your gift around game. I went home with a box of chocolates - can't go wrong with that! It was fun to see what people brought for a $5 price point. It was great to sit around and enjoy the company of a bunch of women and chat about girly things, too. (PS - Scarlett is going to be so happy she made the blog. I've made a dream of hers come true today. Hey Scarlett!)

2.  In our last week of class for the semester our CEVS course played group Jeopardy on material throughout the semester. Almost all groups were in the hole at some point, but my group came out for the win! Starbucks gift cards = a score!

3. I repeat, this is the last week of class. Today is the last class day of the semester! Only 3 final exams stand between us and Christmas break!  That's me and ole HPB there (Henry Peters Building). Ready to say goodbye for a while. This semester has been a rough one.

4. Jesse won runner up in an ugly Christmas sweater contest at work. I thought the ribbon awards were cute.

5. I ran out of my makeup primer, so I am trying a new one (which I got on a great deal at Sephora). I'm sure I'll let you know if I like it.

That's all for the week. Not much happening around here. Hope you all have a great weekend. Think of me and my classmates studying our brains away!
